Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of security services by Vortex K9 Ltd ("the Company"). By instructing us to provide services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Our Services
We provide professional security services including:
- Security Dog Handling (K9)
- Static Security Guards
- Mobile Patrols
- Event Security
- Construction Site Security
- Key Holding & Alarm Response
3. Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
A contract is formed only when the quotation has been accepted in writing by the Client.
4. Payment
Unless agreed otherwise:
- Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.
- Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- We reserve the right to suspend services where invoices remain unpaid.
5. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- Provide accurate information.
- Ensure safe access to the site.
- Inform us of any known risks or hazards.
- Provide any permits or permissions required.
6. Cancellation
Cancellation charges may apply.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- More than 48 hours' notice - no cancellation fee.
- Less than 48 hours' notice - up to 100% of the agreed service charge may be payable.
7. Liability
Vortex K9 Ltd will exercise reasonable skill and care when providing services.
We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or unforeseeable losses, or for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
8. Insurance
Vortex K9 Ltd maintains appropriate business insurance appropriate to the services provided.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any commercially sensitive information obtained during the course of the contract.
10. Data Protection
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, industrial action, government restrictions or other unforeseen events.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
